In 2012, Creative Reflections partnered with a ministry called Shores of Grace in Brazil to drill a well. Shores of Grace was ministering to, and developed a home for women who were working in the red- light district of Recife. These women desired to leave prostitution, and were asking for a safe place to go. Thus was birthed a ministry called Bethany, as the Shores of Grace team actively pursued creation of a safe house for children with its own source of water from the well provided by Creative Reflections. This was to be a place where girls could come freely, just as Mary Magdalene had at Bethany, to wash the feet of Jesus with their tears.Today, Bethany is home to up to 20 girls and boys who have nowhere else to call home, a beacon to the community, and is becoming a model for rescue homes.
